Job summary
Emapta Philippines seeks an experienced Risk & Compliance Team Lead to elevate conflicts management and lead a regional team. You will blend technical judgment with people leadership to guide assessments, escalations, and risk decisions, ensuring governance and compliance standards are met.
The role is based onsite in Makati with day shift, weekends off, and a competitive PHP 207,000 monthly package plus benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience focused on conflicts management.
- 2-3 years of people leadership exposure including supervision, coaching, mentoring, or team development.
- Solid understanding of conflicts principles, regulatory expectations, governance, and risk evaluation.
- Demonstrated capability to examine sensitive or complex issues and recommend practical actions based on risk.
- Experience handling conflicts through review, analysis, documentation, resolution, and escalation.
- Proven track record of improving team effectiveness, reinforcing quality, and supporting consistent delivery.
- Strong capability in research, analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and decision-making.
- Experience working with international teams, cross-border processes, or multi-location operations is highly regarded.
- Background should reflect dedicated conflicts work beyond general AML, KYC, compliance, or enterprise risk responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Intapp or comparable conflicts, workflow, risk, or onboarding systems is preferred; shared services exposure is beneficial

- Coordinate activities across regional teams to support smooth handovers and consistent service
- Mentor junior team members and strengthen consistency in review quality, procedures, and documentation
- Lead conflicts reviews and determine potential areas of concern requiring further assessment
- Develop concise reports and recommendations to support management decisions
- Provide clear conflicts-related advice to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Help improve conflicts workflows, training resources, knowledge sharing, and quality controls
- Handle escalated cases and guide complex matters toward timely, well-supported resolution
- Maintain strong working relationships while promoting sound governance, compliance, and service delivery
- Interpret findings and recommend appropriate actions based on risk, policy, and regulatory considerations
- Keep policies, records, and supporting materials accurate, current, and audit-ready

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience focused on conflicts management
- At least 2-3 years of people leadership exposure, including supervision, coaching, mentoring, or team development
- Solid understanding of conflicts principles, regulatory expectations, professional conduct, governance, and risk evaluation
- Degree-level education or a comparable professional qualification
- Demonstrated capability to examine sensitive or complex issues and recommend practical actions based on risk
- Experience handling conflicts through review, analysis, documentation, resolution, and escalation
- Proven track record of improving team effectiveness, reinforcing quality, and supporting consistent delivery
- Strong capability in research, analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and decision-making
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
