Job summary

Global Payments Process Centre, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Risk Analyst to join our Risk & Collection team.

You will monitor high-risk transactions, review merchant activity, and coordinate with banks to verify information while maintaining compliance and protecting merchants from losses. Key responsibilities include analyzing alerts, educating merchants on policies, and collaborating with internal departments to prevent fraud.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Flexibility to work different shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong analytical and decision making skills.
• High standards in professionalism and fostering positive customer experience.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a complex environment.
• Adept in Google applications.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree is a bonus.
• 1 year of risk and fraud management experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by monitoring a specified goal amount of alerts daily to identify high risk transactions and fraudulent processing activity.
• Monitor merchant authorizations, deposits and refunds to identify suspect transactions and flag for further investigation.
• Verify information with card issuing banks and validate suspicious transactions by contacting merchants and obtaining required documents.
• Capture and hold funds according to guidelines; recommend reserve releases when appropriate.
• Educate merchants on company policies to prevent losses while mitigating financial risk for Global Payments.

Whatyou’llown

• Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently and demonstrate sound judgment by independently monitoring a specified goalamountof alerts on a daily basisin order toidentifyhigh risk transactions and fraudulent processing activity.

• Monitor merchant authorizations, deposits and refunds toidentifysuspect transactions viaRiskNet.Identifymerchant accounts for credit referral or for further investigation

• Verify information with card issuing banks andvalidatesuspicious transactions by contacting merchants and obtaining the necessary documents in arriving at a decision

• Capture and hold funds according to guidelines as warranted.Recommendreserve releaseof merchant funds whereappropriate.

• Focus on the customer first by educating merchants on company policies and procedures as they relate to preventing financial losses for the merchant while simultaneously mitigating losses for Global Payments

• Provide quality customer service and subject matterexpertiseto all internal departments, GlobalPaymentsthird party partners, independent sales organizationsand alsoliaise with credit card issuers and financial institutions.
