Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Rigids Area Engineer in Cavite (onsite) to lead maintenance technicians and shifters, ensuring safe, efficient production and uptime adherence to plans. The role focuses on eliminating breakdowns, enhancing maintenance practices, and driving automation and controls improvements.

You will coach teams, ensure training, and apply predictive and preventive maintenance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and reporting to line management.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with professional engineering status preferred.
• Extensive maintenance experience in FMCG/related industries.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to visualize the ideal production system and establish standards.

Responsibilities

• Coach and guide maintenance technicians to meet timelines and quality.
• Assess skills gaps and drive training interventions.
• Provide equipment and training to ensure safe practices and environmental compliance.
• Eliminate losses using PM, FI and QC pillar tools and methodologies.
• Ensure equipment availability to meet production plans and apply PM methodologies.
• Review autonomous maintenance entries for accuracy and timeliness.
