Job summary

Unilever in Cavite is seeking a Rigids Area Engineer to direct and coach maintenance technicians, ensuring safety and training aligned with standards. The role focuses on equipment uptime to meet production plans and empower line teams with effective maintenance practices.

You will lead cross-functional support, implement FI/5 Why tools, and drive continuous improvement through automation and preventive maintenance while mentoring operators and shift leads.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering Skills, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) with maintenance focus.
• 5+ years experience in maintenance in FMCG/related industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide maintenance technicians and shifters to meet production plans and safety standards.
• Coach in root cause analysis and establishment of countermeasures; provide training to maintenance team.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and MTBF and drive continuous improvement.
