Job summary

Fontis Energy seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor to plan and coordinate all maintenance and inspection activities on the assigned rig. You will align maintenance priorities with rig operation needs to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities include cost control, coordination with the Maintenance Manager and Rig Manager, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance for offshore operations. Fluency in English and offshore experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Engineering preferably.
• 5 years of experience in drilling-related industry; 2 years in the position preferred.
• Experience in maintenance roles in rigs or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance and inspection on the assigned rig.
• Input and control annual maintenance costs within the rig budget.
• Advise on modifications and procedures to improve the Fontis Maintenance System.
• Coordinate maintenance planning with Maintenance Manager and Rig Manager to optimize time and efficiency.
• Ensure replacement parts are maintained to support uninterrupted operations.
• Verify work permits, isolation tags, and logs reflect equipment status.
• Manage material requisitions and inventory accuracy.

Job description

ROLE SUMMARY

This position is overall Responsible to plan and coordinate all maintenance and inspection
activities on assigned rig. Manage maintenance priorities with overall rig operation priorities
to maximize rig efficiency.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for input and cost control measures to ensure that annual maintenance costs are managed within the rig budget.
• Advise others of modifications, changes to procedures, and/or frequencies that improve the Fontis Maintenance System and follow the Fontis Management of Change System on an ongoing basis.
• Coordinate planning of all maintenance activities for the rig with the Maintenance Manager, Rig Manager, and other department heads to optimize time and efficiency.
• Ensure replacement parts are maintained at an optimum level to support uninterrupted operations.
• Verify that entries on work permits, isolation tags, and logs accurately reflect the status of equipment.
• Ensure material requisitions accurately reflect required materials and services, and that unused materials are properly documented and returned to inventory.
• Participate in company-approved and recommended training as required, both onshore and offshore.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records to ensure compliance with regulations governing the rig location.
• Treat all team members with respect, fairness, and professionalism.
• Participate in the development and mentorship of newly appointed crew members.
• Ensure completion and communication of annual performance reviews for all maintenance crew members.
• Assist team in the maintenance of equipment as required.
• Promote and implement the principles of continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to fellow team members as needed.
• Any other matters as deemed necessary by Company Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably a bachelor's degree: High school Degree or any equivalent, or Mechanical
• Engineering preferably.
• Years of experience: 5 years of experience in drilling related industry, preferably 2 years ofexperience in the position.
• Previous experience in relevant maintenance positions.
