Job summary

Hansei Renewable Energy Corporation is seeking a Revenue Accountant to manage and report revenue from renewable energy and EPC projects in accordance with contracts and accounting standards. You will record, monitor, reconcile, and recognize revenue, and prepare schedules and supporting papers for audit trails.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2–4 years of accounting experience (construction preferred), and CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Construction.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record and monitor revenue transactions from company projects.
• Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in the appropriate accounting period based on applicable standards and contracts.
• Review project contracts, purchase orders, agreements, and supporting documents to determine revenue treatment.
• Prepare and maintain revenue schedules and supporting working papers.
• Monitor project revenue against approved contracts, budgets, and milestones.
• Identify unusual or significant revenue variances and coordinate with concerned departments for proper resolution.
• Review and validate project billings, progress billings, invoices, and related documents before recording.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Project Management, and Billing teams regarding milestones and progress claims.
• Maintain accurate records of billings, accounts receivable, collections, and other project-related receivables.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and provide regular updates on overdue accounts.
