Job summary

Shell Pilipinas Corporation seeks a Regional Territory Manager to grow a network of Shell mobility sites across the Philippines. You will lead retailer partnerships, drive sales, optimize pricing and planning, and ensure HSSE standards and customer experience excellence.

Expect active field leadership, recruitment and development of staff, and collaboration with finance, marketing, and operations to deliver sustainable performance and growth across fuels, convenience retail, and lubricants.

Qualifications

  • Strong capabilities in sales, negotiation, and value-based selling.
  • Channel management and route-to-market strategy execution.
  • Commercial and financial acumen with knowledge of value chain.
  • Experience in FMCG or retail operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drive territory growth in value, volume, reputation, and brand equity.
  • Lead retailer performance to hit Customer Commitment and S&O targets.
  • Develop Territory and Retailer Master Plans to optimize network performance.
  • Strengthen HSSE culture and ensure safety and standards compliance.
  • Coach staff, recruit and develop retailer talent, and manage training.
  • Deliver sales and profitability targets including pricing and planning.
  • Identify growth opportunities across fuels, convenience, and lubricants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor P&L and close performance gaps with stakeholders.
  • Monitor competition and implement countermeasures.

What’s the role

A Regional Territory Manager is responsible for driving sustainable business growth across a network of retail sites while ensuring a consistently high-quality customer experience. The role involves leading and supporting retail partners to achieve sales, operational, and service excellence through strong performance management, coaching, and strategic planning. It also focuses on strengthening safety culture, developing people capabilities, and ensuring compliance with operational and company standards. Additionally, the position requires identifying growth opportunities, optimizing financial performance, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver overall business objectives.

What you’ll be doing
  • Drive territory growth in value, volume, reputation, and brand equity while ensuring best‑in‑class customer experience across all Shell mobility sites
  • Lead and manage retailer performance to deliver Customer Commitment and Sales & Operations targets, including coaching underperforming sites
  • Develop and execute Territory and Retailer Master Plans to optimize network performance
  • Strengthen HSSE culture by ensuring full compliance with safety, operational, and Shell Business Principles standards
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by improving staff capability and leveraging customer feedback
  • Build retailer capability and succession pipelines, including involvement in recruitment, training, and development
  • Deliver sales and profitability targets, including district planning, pricing optimization, and retailer business planning
  • Identify and capture growth opportunities across Fuels, Convenience Retail, and Lubricants
  • Partner with retailers to grow their businesses while maximizing Shell’s performance through innovative initiatives
  • Monitor financial performance, including reviewing P&L statements and closing performance gaps
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders (Network, Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply, etc.)
  • Ensure competitive pricing and market responsiveness, including tracking competitor activity and executing countermeasures
  • Implement marketing and operational initiatives to drive compliance and performance at site level
  • Manage risk and financial controls, including credit compliance and system utilization
  • Optimize supply and inventory to maintain stock availability and meet demand
  • Oversee site standards and expansion initiatives, including HSCs, car wash facilities, and lubricant compliance
  • Execute field activities effectively, including structured site visits and active forecourt selling programs
What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with strong capabilities in: Sales, negotiation, and value‑based selling Channel management and route‑to‑market strategy execution Partner development and value proposition design Commercial and financial acumen, including a solid understanding of the value chain Customer experience management and retail operations, including adherence to HSSE standards Site operations and compliance with retail best practices Experience in the FMCG industry is considered a strong advantage. Successful candidates should be open to relocation and assignment across the Philippines, especially in areas outside Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
