Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor for Waltermart Candelaria. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5 years in retail, and strong leadership, organizational, and merchandising skills.

You will oversee store operations, manage staff, and drive sales while ensuring a safe, compliant, and tidy shopping environment. Experience in supervising retail teams and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field is required.
• Fluent in Filipino and English.
• 5 years of working experience in the Retail Industry.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills, plus people management and merchandising skills.
• Preference for candidates with supervisor experience (5+ years).
• Willingness to work at Waltermart Candelaria.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and growth.
• Set up gondolas and merchandise displays.
• Ensure daily store operations are properly managed.
• Keep store tidy and clean; organize merchandise for selling areas.
• Greet and serve customers; maintain store reputation and compliance with laws.
• Recruit, train, coach, discipline, and appraise staff; provide guidance for operations.
• Ensure safe and clean store environment for staff and customers.
• Handle daily bank-in of store sales; manage stock and petty purchases.
• Report sales, staffing, assignments, and other HQ communications.
• Follow SOPs and any additional duties from Asst/Branch Manager.
