Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor for Budgetwise Sangali. The role oversees sales growth, merchandising setup, and daily store operations while ensuring a tidy, compliant store environment and effective customer service.

You will lead recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management, guiding the team to meet targets and maintain store reputation. This position requires Filipino/English proficiency and prior retail leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Required language(s): Filipino, English
• 5 Years working experience in Retail Industry.
• Required Skill(s): Excellent Organizational Skills, Leadership and Communications Skills, People Management Skills, Coaching Skills, Merchandising Skills
• Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
• Amenable to work in Budgetwise Sangali.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the store’s sales achievement and growth.
• Set up gondolas and merchandise display.
• Ensure that the store’s daily operation is properly managed.
• Keep the store tidy and clean.
• Organize and arrange merchandise in the product selling area.
• Greet and serve customers.
• Maintain stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Recruit, select, train, coach and discipline staff; monitor and appraise job responsibilities.
• Provide constructive guidance to team on effective operations.
• Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Daily bank-in of store sales.
• Stocking and order own use items and small notes needed.
• Complete, update and report (Sales, New Staff Hiring, Assignment, Case) to HQ & Superior.
• Sending documents related to HQ and Superior.
• Work within established guidelines and SOP.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the Asst Branch Manager/ Branch Manager.
