Job summary

Robinsons Supermarket Corporation seeks a department supervisor to drive day-to-day sales, oversee customer service, manage stock and displays, and ensure compliance with policies and reports. You will monitor SSL, train staff, implement promotions, and generate sales analyses to support growth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in merchandise/retail supervision, with strong leadership and hands-on oversight across Food, Non-Food, and Fresh sections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any course is required.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitors department sales contribution and growth.
• Initiates cost-efficient programs in the assigned department (Food, Non-Food, and Fresh).
• Maintains the ideal Shelf Service Level (SSL).
• Knowledgeable on fast and slow-moving items per department.
• Ensures proper maintenance of merchandise based on the standards.
• Observes housekeeping standards in all departments.
• Replenishes stocks timely and properly.
• Maintains gondolas and tactical modules.
• Implements promotions in assigned departments.
• Enforces security measures to prevent shrinkage and pilferage.
• Trains selling personnel before deployment on the selling floor.
• Ensures adherence to Customer Service Standards.
• Prepares department sales report and analysis.
• Conducts Top 200 Price Survey.
• Performs POS at the start and end of the day.
