About the role

Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation is seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales performance and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, leading a team of sales associates, and maintaining high standards of service that align with our company's commitment to excellence in lighting and technology solutions. This position is integral to achieving our sales targets and building customer loyalty in the competitive retail landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily activities of sales associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
• Provide coaching, training and mentoring to sales staff to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
• Ensure the retail environment is well-maintained, organized and visually appealing to encourage customer engagement
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure adequate product availability
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly and maintaining customer satisfaction
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, cash reconciliations and other documentation as required
• Implement visual merchandising strategies and promotional displays to maximize product visibility and sales
• Maintain security and loss prevention protocols, monitoring for shrinkage and unauthorized activities
• Collaborate with management to develop and execute sales plans and marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a retail supervisory or team leadership role, preferably in consumer products, technology or lighting retail
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train and manage a diverse team effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery
• Demonstrated proficiency in sales analysis, target management and performance optimization
• Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising and point-of-sale systems
• Proficiency in using computer systems and retail management software
• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to manage cash handling and reconciliation
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure
• Product knowledge in lighting and technology solutions is preferred but not essential
