Job summary

Skechers India is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the retail expansion across India, focusing on premium mall locations and company-owned stores. You will drive end-to-end commercial negotiations, LOIs, and cross-functional collaboration to hit the 1,000-store target by 2030.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years in Retail BD or Real Estate, strong relationship management, deal-closure skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint for reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
• MBA will be an added advantage.
• 4–6 years of Retail Business Development, Real Estate, Leasing, or Expansion.
• Experience in retail, footwear, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred.
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing commercial retail agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure strategic retail locations across regions.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with mall developers, landlords, and property owners.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Projects, Retail Operations, and Leadership teams to ensure smooth store opening timelines.
• Provide regular business updates, expansion reports, and forecasting to senior management.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Development Strategy toward 1,000 stores by 2030.
