Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in buying, merchandising, category management, or procurement in supermarket/retail/FMCG.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, inventory management, and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase products based on demand and sales trends.
• Manage categories to ensure optimal merchandise assortment.
• Negotiate pricing, trade terms, discounts, and promotions with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts.
• Analyze sales performance and inventory turnover to guide decisions.
• Coordinate timely supplier delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on promotions and launches.
• Monitor competitor pricing and product offerings.
