Job summary

RRJ is seeking a data-driven Retail Analytics professional to evaluate promotions, monitor retail performance, and analyze inventory productivity. The role focuses on turning numbers into actionable business recommendations to improve sales and profitability.

You will build reports and dashboards, analyze ROI, margin impact, and stock movement across stores and channels, and present insights directly to the Director/Owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Retail Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience in retail, fashion, cosmetics, FMCG, or consumer goods is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; SQL is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance of promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns.
• Measure incremental sales, ROI, sell-through rates, margin impact, and customer response.
• Provide recommendations on promotion continuation, optimization, or discontinuation.
• Monitor sales performance by store, product, category, and channel.
• Analyze inventory movement, stock turnover, and product performance.
• Track competitor activities, promotions, and market trends.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and executive presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Present insights and recommendations directly to the Director/Owner.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
