Job summary

EasyFood Restaurants Corporation is seeking a Cost Accountant to monitor costs across all restaurant locations and drive cost-saving initiatives. You will prepare detailed cost analyses, reconcile inventories, and support month-end closing to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years in cost accounting, and proficiency in MS Excel. CPA/CMA is advantageous for progression within the hospitality sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in cost accounting or related role.
• Experience in food & beverage or hospitality industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, analysis techniques and variance analysis.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel with data analysis skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports to identify variances and savings opportunities across locations.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses including food costs, labor, overhead and other expenses.
• Conduct regular cost audits and inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with operations to implement cost controls and efficiency improvements.
• Review supplier invoices to ensure costs align with negotiated pricing.
