Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies is seeking an Accounting Officer to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role focuses on cost control, inventory management, revenue auditing, and expense analysis across our food and beverage operations.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting, 2–5 years of experience in hospitality finance, and proficiency with SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and POS integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 2–5 years accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledgers and sub-ledgers for all operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and documented per policies and standards.
• Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, wastage, and variance reports.
• Coordinate with purchasing and cost control to ensure inventory valuation.
• Perform regular stock reconciliations and assist with physical counts.
• Review and verify menu pricing and recipe costing with cost control team.
• Audit daily sales summaries and reconcile with POS reports.
• Verify cash, card, and other transactions against records.
• Investigate and report revenue discrepancies and discounts.
• Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts; monitor performance against budget.
