Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies in the Philippines seeks an Accounting Officer to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, with a focus on cost control, inventory management, revenue auditing, and expense analysis.

The role covers general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, stock valuation, budget preparation, variance analysis, and internal controls, plus audit support across operations and POS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks and POS integration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Understanding of cost accounting and inventory control principles.
• Experience in a corporate finance environment or audit firm.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance in Philippines.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledgers and sub-ledgers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with policies.
• Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor costs, wastage, and inventory valuation; assist with stock counts.
• Audit daily sales summaries and reconcile with POS reports.
• Assist in budgeting and variance analysis; support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support external and internal audit processes.
