Job summary

Responsibilities

• Educate asthma patients on inhaler technique.
• Monitor patient oxygen levels and adjust treatment.

• Analyze oxygen, CO2, and pH levels in blood.
• Chest physiotherapy to drain mucus from lungs.
• Adjust medical machinery as required for treatment.
• Support pulmonary rehabilitation and run diagnostic tests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

PRIMARY DUTIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Teach asthma patients how to properly inhale the aerosols
• Monitors the oxygen levels in patient’s blood and adjusting treatment accordingly. Administers proper amounts of oxygen to patients
• Provides artificial breathing – in the form of ventilators – to patients who cannot breathe on their own.
• Analyzes the amounts of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and pH levels in a patient’s blood.
• Drains mucus from patient’s lungs using chest physiotherapy.
• Adjusts medical machinery, as needed, to appropriately treat the patient.
• Pulmonary rehabilitation. Runs diagnostic tests.
