Job summary

SM Supermalls in the Philippines seeks a Mall Facilities Supervisor to supervise the mall’s equipment operations, planning and implementing repairs and maintenance of MEPFS systems to ensure safe, reliable operations. You will coordinate with contractors, monitor utility performance, and ensure compliance with government standards, while supporting tenants and promoting safety and continuous learning.

This role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience in a dynamic, large-scale shopping center

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in mall facilities management or MEPFS operations.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong coordination with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations for safe, efficient mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.
• Manage contractors and projects: bidding, inspections and progress tracking to meet standards.
• Monitor water and power usage; implement corrective actions for optimal utility performance.
• Review MEPFS plans with tenants; conduct inspections and resolve technical concerns.
• Promote safety and continuous learning; enforce safety standards.

Position description: Responsible in the supervision of the mall’s equipment operations in order to provide the necessary utilities for the operation of the mall. Involves planning and implementation of repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment and the related systems for the safe and efficient operations of the mall. Ensures compliance of the Mall (establishment) in the standards set forth by the government agencies and local government units.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance to ensure all mall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Manage contractors and projects by handling bidding, inspections, and progress monitoring to meet EDD standards and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utility performance through regular monitoring, analysis, and implementation of corrective measures on water and power consumption.
• Support tenant coordination by reviewing MEPFS plans, conducting inspections, and addressing technical service concerns.
