Job summary

SM Supermalls, a leading mall developer and operator in the Philippines, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineering supervisor to oversee electro-mechanical operations and maintenance for mall facilities. The role emphasizes planning, repairs, and replacements to ensure safe, efficient operations across the assets.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Professional License and have 3–7 years in related supervisory roles, preferably within large facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Professional License required.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and/or construction in supervisory roles preferred.
• Experience in managing high-rise building operational equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct planning and supervision for engineering activities including electro-mechanical operation and maintenance.

Job Description:

Responsible in the supervision of the mall’s equipment operations in order to provide the necessary utilities for the operation of the mall. Involves planning and implementation of repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment and the related systems for the safe and efficient operations of the mall.

• Provides direct planning and supervision for engineering activities, which include electro-mechanical equipment operation and maintenance, and engineering project management;
• Supports tenant’s utility requirements and the promotion and implementation of mall wide regulations and policies.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Professional License holder in the related field is required.
• Work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and/or construction works in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
• With working experience in line with managing business facilities (high rise building operational equipment)
