Job summary

PRIME GLOBAL CORPORATION seeks a QA/QC specialist to manage in-house and external product testing, ensuring robust protocols and accurate reporting. You will maintain master data and BOMs in the ERP system and support documentation, FPFGS/CR linking, and automation projects.

You should have 3+ years in product testing/QA/QC, familiarity with GMP/GLP, and proficiency in SAP R/3 Master Data. Office-based with some field exposure in a pharma-type setting.

Job description

I. PRINCIPAL PURPOSE:

1. Provide technical support in documentation process, creation, revision and maintenance of Master Data and Bill of Materials in the ERP system;

2. Implementation of critical processes in product testing such as stability, compatibility, in-house and consumer usage tests;

3. Development of product and equipment testing protocols.

II. SPECIFIC SKILLS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF IN-HOUSE TESTS AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY TESTS

1. Facilitate the conduct of In-House and External product test.

2. Ensure effective implementation of in-house test protocols.

3. Strengthen claims substantiation through the proper and efficient utilization of specialized testing equipment either in-house or thru third-party testing labs.

4. Conduct statistical analysis of data and prepare technical reports.

5. Keep abreast with the fast and ever-changing world of Technology by being regularly updated on new methods of product testing through acquisition of equipment and maximization of its use.

6. Identify and recommend novel testing and laboratory instrumentation and methodologies to further improve evaluations of product quality and safety.

B. EFFICIENT CONDUCT AND MONITORING OF ACCELERATED STABILITY TEST & COMPATIBILITY TEST

1. Review requests for stability and compatibility tests.

2. Conduct stability and compatibility tests.

3. Provide accurate report on the result of stability & compatibility test.

4. Identify, recommend and implement methodologies to further improve stability and compatibility testing.

C. MASTER DATA AND BILL OF MATERIALS CREATION AND MAINTENANCE

1. Creation of master data of all stock items (Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Semi-Finished, Finished Goods).

2. Timely and accurate uploading of the Semi-Finished and Finished Goods Bills of Materials (BOM).

3. Processing of requests for activation, extension, tagging, master data (dimensions, CBM, weight)/ BOM details updating.

4. Linking of manufacturing procedure/ process specifications (Filling Packing and Finished Goods Specifications (FPFGS), Compounding Record (CR)) in the master data.

5. Releasing of formal notice of availability/change for all newly created/ uploaded and/or updated master data and Bills of Materials, respectively.

6. Efficient filing and maintenance of ERP related records such as NFA, PCC, etc.

7. Preparation of loading templates, as deemed necessary.

8. Support to automation project activities like system use simulation/ parallel runs and validations.

D. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND QUALITY MANUAL PROCEDURE; DOCUMENTATION MAINTENANCE OF RMS, PMS, RMSCA AND FPS

1. Support quality documentation of procedure, work instruction, and forms/exhibits related to product testing and documentation processes.

2. Recommend process improvement in the documented procedure.

3. Ensure availability, accuracy, and completeness of data and supporting documents of raw materials and packaging materials.

4. Generate documents based on submitted data and supporting documents.

5. Efficient filing of created documents.

C. CONDUCT OF PHYSICO-CHEMICAL TEST FOR R&D NEW PRODUCTS, RAW MATERIALS, AND PRODUCT SAMPLES

E. OTHER RELATED TASKS AS MAY BE ASSIGNED FROM TIME TO TIME

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

A. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT/LICENSURE REQUIREMENT:

Bachelors Degree holder; Preferably graduate of Pharmacist, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or any other related course.

B. WORK EXPERIENCE / TRAINING REQUIREMENT

1. With relevant work experience in control and maintenance of internally generated documents or exposure on similar job function; knowledge in MSBC or SAP R/3 maintenance is a plus.

2. With experience of not less than 3 years in Product Testing/ Quality Assurance/ Quality Control or exposure on a similar job function.

3. With experience of not less than 3 years in conducting product stability and compatibility tests for Personal Care, and Homecare.

4. With experience of not less than 3 years in conducting sensory evaluation, statistical analysis, and report generation.

5. Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

C. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Background in QA/QC; knowledgeable in sensory evaluation; background in ISO 9000:2001 implementation; computer literate preferably with experience in MSBC or SAP R/3 Master Data and BOM maintenance; flexible and willing to perform any assigned work. Must have the competencies in analytical thinking, problem solving, creativity and resourcefulness.

D. WORKING CONDITIONS INHERENT TO THE JOB:

Generally office based but must be willing to do field work.
