Job summary

Unilab, Inc. in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, is seeking a Laboratory Support professional to enable product development and technical projects.

The role focuses on providing laboratory support, maintaining materials and equipment, and assisting in stability testing and batch preparation. The candidate will also support procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services for Product Development, Sensory Claim Management, and Process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or other relevant Science-related field.
• Experience in FMCG environment and supporting laboratory/quality/product development is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP and laboratory safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and data/documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains laboratory readiness by managing raw materials, inventory, equipment, supplies, and laboratory records.
• Assists in laboratory batch preparation, stability testing, equipment maintenance, and calibration monitoring.
• Supports procurement and purchasing activities, including requisitions, supplier coordination, and material deliveries.
• Manages administrative and operational activities including SAP HANA purchasing transactions and material coding.
• Sources benchmark products, market samples, and development materials for R&D projects.

Role Overview

• Provides laboratory support by ensuring the availability of raw materials, maintaining laboratory equipment, managing stability testing activities, and assisting in laboratory batch preparation to enable efficient product development and technical development projects.


• Provides administrative support to the R&D Center by managing purchasing and procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring the timely availability of materials and services to support Product Development, Sensory Claim Management, and Process team activities.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains laboratory readiness by managing raw materials, inventory, equipment, supplies, and laboratory records to support product development activities.


• Assists in laboratory batch preparation, stability testing, equipment maintenance, calibration monitoring, and documentation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.


• Supports procurement and purchasing activities, including requisitions, supplier coordination, order tracking, and material deliveries to ensure timely project execution.


• Manages administrative and operational activities such as facility upkeep, pest control coordination, SAP HANA purchasing transactions, and material coding management.


• Sources benchmark products, market samples, and development materials to support R&D projects, product evaluations, and sensory claim activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or other relevant Science-related field.


• At least one (1) year of experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, preferably supporting laboratory, quality, or product development activities.


• Basic knowledge of laboratory operations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and laboratory safety standards.


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage data, records, and laboratory documentation while following established procedures.


• Willing to work onsite in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
