Job summary

Conlins Coffee World, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Regulatory Officer to maintain licenses, handle product registrations, and ensure compliance with local and international mandates.

You will review technical data, respond to inquiries, and safeguard regulatory documents while supporting product development and quality assurance processes.

This role requires a BS in Food Technology or related field and 2–3 years in a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate in BS Food Technology / Chemistry / Biology / Nutrition or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing company.
• Knowledgeable with ISO 22000, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, FDA and other food related regulations.
• Able to guide and manage a team with effective communication skills.
• Proactive in seeking solutions and good problem-solving skills.
• Trained sensory skills.

Responsibilities

• Outsourcing raw materials, packaging materials (primary, secondary, and tertiary).
• Conducts product optimization by studying cost-effective formulations and processes.
• Verify newly developed and improved products by R&D Officers based from client’s and/or company specifications.
• Establish parameters of product standard (physicochemical and microbiological standards) for every newly developed and/or improved product.
• Establish process and data needed for production; and modify if needed.
• Leads in conducting shelf life of new and existing products.
• Conducts market study of the products being develop and identify the trend.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Control Supervisor regarding the cause of quality complaints; may suggest recommendation and disposition regarding the complaint.
• Conduct basic sensory training of Conlins products to newly hired employee
• Report the progress of the product being developed or improved to immediate superior
• Assists in audits and/or plant visits.

2. Conducts product optimization by studying cost- effective formulations and processes

As Regulatory Officer

1. Maintaining the validity and securing pertinent license to operate and the registration of CCWI products.
2. Handles renewals and applications of products to government and non-government mandated registrations
3. Ensures regulatory requirements of products as per local and international mandates are fulfilled.
4. Reviews and evaluates technical data and requirements prior to submission to assure correctness, accuracy, completeness and compliance to regulatory standards.
5. Answers to all inquiries related to regulatory compliance and updates.
6. Ensures safekeeping of Regulatory document and licenses.

Qualifications:

Required:

• · Graduate of BS Food Technology / Chemistry / Biology / Nutrition or equivalent.
• · Minimum of 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing company
• · Knowledgeable with ISO 22000, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, FDA and other food related regulations/ certifications
