Job summary

Infinity Sports International, Inc. is seeking a proactive and analytical Research & Development (R&D) Specialist to identify new product opportunities and study market trends.

You will support development across sporting goods, monitor competitors, and prepare research reports to guide recommendations. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with market research, and the ability to coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Product Development, or a related field.
• Preferably with experience in Research & Development, Product Development, Product Management, Market Research, Purchasing, or a related role.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of market research and competitor analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other research/productivity tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Interest or knowledge in sports, fitness, recreation, and consumer products is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Makati City
• Can start immediately

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on sporting goods, fitness, recreation, and lifestyle products.
• Identify emerging product trends, technologies, and consumer preferences.
• Research potential new products, brands, suppliers, and product categories.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking, including product features, pricing, positioning, and market presence.
• Evaluate product samples based on quality, functionality, design, packaging, and market potential.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Importation, Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Warehouse teams regarding new product initiatives.
• Assist in product development, improvement, testing, and commercialization.
• Prepare product research reports, competitor analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
• Monitor customer feedback and sales performance to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Support product launches by providing accurate product information, features, specifications, and competitive advantages
