Job summary

SLI Consulting Inc. is seeking a System Analyst to bridge business needs and IT in banking projects, focusing on downstream interfaces and regulatory reporting.

You will collect requirements, define end-to-end flows, coordinate SIT/UAT, and drive sign-off packs while managing RAID and dependencies with Finance, Ops, and vendor teams.

This role requires 5–8 years of experience, strong documentation, and proven ability to work across multiple implementations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience as a System Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Experience in downstream/accounting/reporting domains (GL interfaces, reconciliation, regulatory reporting).
• End-to-end project experience across at least 2 implementations.
• Hands-on experience with TCS, Finacle, or Fiserv platforms (at least two).
• Experience working across multi-stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and define functional requirements for downstream systems (accounting, GL/sub-ledger interfaces, reporting feeds, MIS/regulatory extracts, and reconciliation).
• Identify gaps/ambiguities in requirements and drive closure with business owners (Finance, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Ops).
• Define end-to-end flows for key deposit events and ensure downstream impacts are covered (account opening, maintenance, interest accrual/posting, fees/charges, reversals, closures, adjustments).
• Produce/maintain functional specs and interface-related artifacts (data mapping requirements, field definitions, validation rules, frequency/cut-off times, error handling expectations).
• Support SIT/UAT execution, defect triage, and retest coordination specific to downstream feeds and reporting outputs; ensure traceability from requirements to tests.
• Define and validate reconciliation controls (control totals, balancing rules, GL tie-outs where applicable, exception processes) and support sign-off packs/evidence.
• Coordinate cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities for downstream flows (day-1 postings, first interest runs, EOD/EOM processing, reporting cycles).
• Maintain RAID, decisions, and dependency tracking for downstream scope; provide regular status updates to Integration governance.

• Experience in downstream/accounting/reporting domains (GL interfaces, reconciliation, regulatory reporting) strongly preferred.
• End-to-end project experience from requirements through testing and deployment across at least 2 implementations.
• Hands-on experience with TCS, Finacle, or Fiserv platforms (at least two required)
