Job summary

• Comfort using hand and power tools and maintaining safety standards.

Job description

Responsible for maintaining and repairing stores structures, warehouse, and commissary facilities. This includes building items such as furniture’s, making repairs to the internal and external structures and ensuring buildings / facilities are safe.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Builds, repairs, and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floor, doors, building framework and trim using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools.

• Replace damage ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings.

• May install and assemble items such as window shades, venetian blinds, and curtain rods, wall fans, door locks and display equipment.

• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.

• Keep daily log on tasks

• Perform other tasks that maybe be assigned from time to time.
