Job summary

Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) seeks a Land Contract and Titling Lawyer to join the legal team on a full-time basis in the Philippines.

You will draft, review, and negotiate land-related contracts; conduct due diligence on titles; coordinate with government offices, registries, and notaries; and advise project teams on land use and regulatory compliance to enable CREC’s renewable energy developments.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in land, property, and real estate law, incl. land acquisition, titling, and registration.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, easements, rights-of-way, and purchase agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence, assess ownership and encumbrances, and prepare clear opinions/reports.
• Experience with government agencies, land registries, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB/JD) and Philippine Bar admission; experience in energy/infrastructure or real estate is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate land-related contracts (leases, rights-of-way, easements, sale agreements).
• Perform due diligence on land titles and encumbrances; coordinate with government offices and registries.
• Advise project teams on land use, regulatory compliance, and permitting issues.
• Prepare legal opinions and documentation; support dispute resolution related to land matters.
