Job summary

LVI Associates in the Philippines seeks an experienced Technical Development Manager to lead the technical development of large-scale renewable energy projects, including Solar PV, BESS, and Wind, from early feasibility through construction readiness.

You will manage technical workstreams, review grid studies, coordinate with regulators and partners, and ensure projects meet Philippine Grid Code and regulatory standards, while guiding engineering design and due diligence across site, utility,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years in utility-scale renewable energy projects; 5+ years in technical development.
Experience with Solar PV, BESS and/or Wind projects.
Strong understanding of BESS, power systems, grid integration.
Proficiency with PVsyst for energy yield analysis.
Experience with grid connection procedures and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical development of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, and Wind projects from early-stage development to construction readiness.
Conduct technical feasibility assessments, site selection support, and development strategy.
Review SIS, FSR, grid studies, and technical reports to identify constraints and mitigation options.
Manage technical workstreams: specifications, scopes of work, and RFP documentation.
Coordinate third-party consultants for topographic surveys, geotechnical, flood/drainage, and environmental assessments.
Perform technical due diligence, risk assessments, and engineering reviews for acquisitions and financing.
Guide engineering design activities and provide technical guidance through construction phases.
Liaise with NGCP, DOE, ERC, consultants, EPC contractors, and project partners for permitting and grid connection.
