Job summary

Berde Renewables Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Technical Development Manager to lead end-to-end technical development of solar PV embedded generation projects for electric cooperatives and distribution utilities, ensuring grid compliance and bankability.

You will oversee interconnection studies, energy-yield modeling, EPC coordination, and regulatory alignment while mentoring a growing technical team and extending to solar-plus-storage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• REE/PE license in the Philippines is required.
• 8–10 years in power generation/grid projects, with renewable energy focus preferred.
• Experience with embedded generation projects interconnection with utilities in the Philippines is preferred.
• Certifications in energy-yield modeling or PV system design are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical feasibility studies for embedded generation projects with partner ECs or distribution utilities.
• Own energy-yield modeling (PVsyst, P50/P75) for investor-grade projections.
• Manage end-to-end interconnection with NGCP, ECs, and DUs; oversee SIS/Facility Study/Distributions impacts.
• Align interconnection with WESM rules and standards.
• Oversee engineering design by EPCs; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Serve as liaison with DOE/ERC and regulators on technical matters (CoC, Connection Agreements).
• Extend leadership to BESS and hybrid interconnection studies; mentor technical team.
