Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Permitting & Compliance Officer to manage permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects during pre-development and development stages. You will coordinate with government agencies, LGUs, landowners, consultants, project development teams, and internal departments to ensure compliance and timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience with permitting, regulatory compliance, or project development is preferred.
• Renewable energy project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the permitting strategy and roadmap for renewable energy projects.
• Identify all permits, licenses, clearances, certificates, endorsements, registrations, and approvals required for project development.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed Permitting and Compliance Matrix, including: requirement, issuing agency, submission date, target approval date, status, renewal and conditions.
• Coordinate with government agencies and LGUs, landowners, communities, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on risks, constraints, and timelines.
• Support land-use, environmental, and community coordination throughout development.
• Maintain compliance records, reporting, and documentation; monitor renewal and deadlines.
• Coordinate consultants and third-party deliverables; ensure timely submissions.
• Provide permitting input during site development and feasibility assessments.
