Job summary

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience with EPC project execution and QA/QC processes.
  • PRC Licensed Engineer (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical preferred).
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Cost control throughout the project life cycle.
  • Knowledge of Philippine electrical standards and safety rules.
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD and project tracking tools.

  • Coordinate with agencies, LGUs, and stakeholders.
  • Track submission requirements, timelines, and action items for each project.

  • Ensure permits and compliance documents are filed and updated.
  • Identify pending requirements and potential delays.
  • Organize project records and supporting documents.
  • Prepare internal status reports for management and development teams.
  • Collaborate with land acquisition, technical, legal, and commercial teams.

About the role

The Permitting and Compliance Associate (Solar Power Project) shall oversee the full life cycle of the renewable energy projects, from development and permitting to construction, commissioning, and handover. This role is essential in ensuring safe, compliant, timely, and cost-effective implementation of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and contractors, manage project risks, and ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met across all phases.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of project permits and approvals with relevant government agencies

  • Support applications and compliance matters involving agencies such as DOE, DENR, LGUs, DAR, NCIP, NGCP/ERC, and other relevant offices

  • Coordinate with national government agencies, local government units, barangays, and other stakeholders

  • Track submission requirements, timelines, follow-ups, and action items for each project

  • Maintain a permitting tracker for each project

  • Ensure that permits, endorsements, clearances, and compliance documents are properly filed, updated, and monitored

  • Help identify pending requirements, potential delays, and compliance risks

  • Organize project records, permits, letters, resolutions, endorsements, and supporting documents

  • Prepare internal status reports and updates for management and the project development team

  • Work closely with the land acquisition, technical, legal, and commercial teams to ensure that permitting requirements are aligned with overall project development milestones

About you
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience managing utility-scale solar power or renewable energy projects

  • Proven experience with EPC project execution, contract management, and QA/QC processes

  • PRC Licensed Engineer (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical preferred)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is an advantage

  • Proficient in cost control in the solar power project construction industry, with cost awareness throughout the project life cycle

  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems and Philippine electrical and safety standards

  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software, MS Project, AutoCAD, and other construction and project tracking tools

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with strong problem-solving and risk management abilities

  • Familiar with Philippine construction regulations, permitting, and interconnection processes; willing to be assigned on-site and travel as needed
