Waaree Renewable Tecnologies Ltdd in Mumbai seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Civil Structural engineering function for complex green hydrogen projects. You will oversee technical design, vendor engagement, and cross-functional coordination through FEED, detail, and commissioning stages.

The role requires deep knowledge of civil/structural codes, team leadership, and hands-on proficiency with STAAD/TEKLA and 3D modelling. Onsite execution and international standards adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• To independently lead and manage the Civil Structural engineering function. Develop and manage the team to deliver from start to finish through conceptual study, feasibility study, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and plant handover; review of engineering documents and providing approval at various stages of the project,
• Will be responsible for both Structural and Civil groups, but incumbent should be expert in Civil Structural engineering.
• To develop engineering specifications, MRs and vendor selection/approval, engagement with vendors, quality control, ensuring the quality of work being carried out by engineering company meeting national/international norms and standards.
• To lead a team for the proper execution of engineering related activities for various green Hydrogen, green Ammonia, and other green Hydrogen derivative projects;
• Provides inputs during all design phases including interpretation of standards. Actively communicates with other departments to optimize areas of interface during design development, review and check processes.
• Review of client ITB and provide clarifications / deviations during proposals, Prepare cost estimates & Man-hours
• Able to guide team on International standard and codes
• Familiar with STAAD, TEKLA and 3D modelling softwar

Responsibilities

• Able to develop Structural design calculation, plans, layout and specification.
• To lead a team for the proper execution of engineering related activities for various green Hydrogen EPC, green Ammonia, and Electrolyser manufacturing project
• Provides inputs during all design phases including interpretation of standards. Actively communicates with other departments to optimize areas of interface during design development, review and check processes.
• Design of steel structures/ RCC structures using Indian codes ,ACI and international codes
• 2D and 3D Analysis using STAAD Pro , ETABS, SAP for RCC and steel structures
• Analysis, Design and Quantity take-off for Residential building, tunnels , Minor Bridges and Box Culverts.
• Review of RCC drawings and Steel fabrication drawings.
• Analysis and Design for different seismic zone using IS 1893 Code and other international codes
• Designing and preparing detailed construction drawings and specifications
• Ensuring that all structural designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborating with architects and other engineers to develop integrated design solutions.
• Reviewing construction plans and providing technical guidance during the construction phase
• Prepare MR, carry out Technical Bid Analysis, Cost Bid Analysis, Cost Estimates and cost optimization.
