Job summary

Peoples Pharma Equipment and Supplies Inc. is seeking a Renal Head Nurse to provide overall clinical supervision, management, and quality assurance for the dialysis unit. The role ensures safe, efficient care in line with DOH, PhilHealth, and infection control standards.

The successful candidate will lead the nursing team, coordinate with physicians and management, and uphold high patient care standards through strong leadership, training, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license and BSN required.
• 3–5 years of dialysis/renal nursing experience.
• Supervisory or head nurse experience preferred.
• Dialysis training and certification completed.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Documentation and reporting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all nursing activities within the dialysis unit.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, PhilHealth, and facility policies and standards.
• Oversee patient care before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Implement and monitor infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Prepare and manage nursing schedules, staffing, and duty assignments.
• Conduct orientation, training, performance evaluation, and mentoring of nursing staff.
• Coordinate with Nephrologists, Biomedical staff, and Operations Management.
• Monitor dialysis procedures, equipment usage, and consumables.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and reports.
• Handle patient concerns, incident reports, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.
