Job summary

Golden Renal Care Holdings Inc. is seeking an experienced Head Nurse to provide clinical and operational leadership across hemodialysis units.

You will act as quality, infection-control, and staff-development lead, ensuring compliance with DOH, PSN, and PhilHealth standards. You will mentor nursing staff, lead audits, coordinate QA activities, and support licensing readiness and accreditation processes across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN from a CHED-accredited institution.
• Active PRC-registered RN.
• DOH-accredited Hemodialysis Nurse Training Program (≥480 hours).
• Current IV Therapy, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• RENAP membership in good standing.
• Leadership or Supervisory Training completed.
• Annual QA/IPC training accredited by DOH or RENAP.
• ≥5 years HD experience with leadership in audits and incident management.
• Preferred: Quality Management or Clinical Instruction coursework.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple HD shifts or stations, ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and appropriate staffing ratios.
• Coordinate clinic-wide QA and infection-control activities, including water quality testing and incident reporting.
• Conduct shift-level audits and peer reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor Charge I and Staff Nurses with coaching and performance input.
• Lead incident investigations and provide root-cause analyses for submission to leadership.
• Review PhilHealth records for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Collaborate with the biomedical team and suppliers to meet DOH requirements.
• Drive continuous-improvement initiatives in infection control, patient education, and workflow.
• Serve as liaison between nursing staff and leadership for policy communication and audit findings.
• Support Head Nurse during regulatory inspections and accreditation feedback.

About the role

Provides advanced clinical and operational leadership across multiple shifts or units within a hemodialysis clinic. Serves as the quality, infection-control, and staff-development lead, ensuring all nursing activities comply with DOH, PSN, and PhilHealth standards. Functions as acting Head Nurse when delegated, supporting licensing readiness, audits, and cross-functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple HD shifts or stations, ensuring consistent patient safety, documentation accuracy, and adherence to staffing ratios.

• Coordinate clinic-wide QA and infection-control activities, tracking water-quality testing, disinfection logs, and incident reports.

• Conduct shift-level audits and peer reviews, identifying process gaps and facilitating corrective actions.

• Mentor Charge I and Staff Nurses, providing coaching, clinical validation, and input into performance appraisals.

• Lead incident investigations and prepare root-cause analyses for submission to the Head Nurse and Medical Director.

• Review and approve PhilHealth treatment records for completeness and accuracy before submission.

• Collaborate with the biomedical team and supplier partners to ensure all HD machines meet DOH and manufacturer maintenance requirements.

• Drive continuous-improvement initiatives, including infection-control campaigns, patient-education improvements, or workflow optimization.

• Act as liaison between nursing staff and leadership, ensuring transparent communication of policies, safety alerts, and audit findings.

• Support Head Nurse in regulatory inspections, documentation preparation, and implementation of accreditation feedback.

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CHED-accredited institution.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

• Completed DOH-accredited Hemodialysis Nurse Training Program (≥ 480 hours).

• Current IV Therapy, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

• RENAP membership in good standing.

• Completion of Leadership or Supervisory Training (internal or external).

• Annual participation in QA/IPC training accredited by DOH or RENAP.

• ≥5 years HD experience; demonstrated leadership in audits, incident management.

• Preferred: Certification or advanced coursework in Quality Management or Clinical Instruction.
