Magic, Inc. is seeking a freelance Web Developer to build and maintain WordPress sites for a mission-driven client in Minnesota. You’ll create new sites, set up e‑commerce with WooCommerce, and develop internal tools to streamline operations.

This remote role requires hands-on work with WordPress themes/plugins, SiteGround hosting, HubSpot integrations, and Google Workspace. You’ll collaborate with a US-based team, communicate clearly, and own quality across live production sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive WordPress development experience with themes and plugins.
• Experience configuring WooCommerce for client-facing sites.
• Familiarity with SiteGround hosting management.
• HubSpot forms, integrations, or workflows knowledge.
• Strong written and spoken English for US-based collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build new WordPress websites from concept to launch.
• Set up and maintain WooCommerce sites and checkout flows.
• Develop internal tools and pages for staff workflows.
• Perform regular updates of plugins, themes, and core WordPress.
• Troubleshoot downtime, bugs, and hosting tasks on SiteGround.
• Ensure HubSpot integrations and Google Workspace coordination.
