Job summary

BruntWork is looking for a Tekla Structural Steel Detailer to produce fabrication-ready workshop drawings for structural steel and metalwork. You will manage detailing packages with Tekla Structures and coordinate with an Australia-based senior draftsman to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role is fully remote from the Philippines with a dedicated home office setup and 20 hours per week, aligning with client business hours (AEST).

Qualifications

• Tekla mastery with workshop drawing generation.
• Solid understanding of welding symbols and fabrication constraints.
• Ability to interpret complex 3D BIM models and raise RFIs.
• Strong remote communication with Australian engineers and leads.
• Remote workstation with high-performance hardware and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate fabrication drawings and assembly sheets for structural steel and metalwork using Tekla Structures.
• Produce shop drawings for heavy structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and facade metalwork.
• Maintain model fidelity and synchronize 2D drawings with the 3D Tekla model.
• Own job packages end-to-end across multi-month projects and track revisions.
• Coordinate with the Australia-based lead draftsman to resolve queries and milestones.
• Deliver complete drawing packages on schedule and generate NC/DXF files and BOMs.
