Job summary

New CAS LLC is seeking a Tax Accountant (Remote) to handle complex returns for clients abroad. You’ll own multi-entity tax work, prepare and review returns, and provide practical planning guidance while aligning with North American hours during a remote night shift in the Philippines.

You’ll mentor junior staff, develop SOPs, and improve automation and workflows to keep busy season efficient. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years of tax experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of tax experience preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S returns.
• Proficiency with tax software (ProConnect/UltraTax/Drake/Lacerte) and cloud tools (QBO, Xero).
• Strong written and spoken English and client-facing presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex return preparation and review for multi-entity clients.
• Prepare planning memos, elections, and document tax positions.
• Coordinate with teams abroad, mentor junior staff, and improve processes.
• Manage e-file submission, notices, and client Q&A.
