Job summary

New CAS LLC is seeking a Tax Accountant (Remote) to handle complex tax returns for clients abroad from the Philippines, aligned with North American hours. You will prepare and review multi-entity returns, draft planning memos, and oversee thorough workpapers to ensure accurate e-file submissions.

You'll mentor junior staff, optimize SOPs, and contribute to automation and improved processes, while maintaining strong client communication and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2+ years of tax experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S).
• Strong command of federal and state tax rules; GAAP familiarity.
• Proficiency in tax software and cloud-based tools; client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tax preparation and review for complex multi-entity clients.
• Identify elections, credits, and apportionment issues; document with memos and workpapers.
• Coach junior staff and help automate routine tax processes.
• Manage multi-state and SALT considerations; respond to tax notices and deadlines.
