Job summary

New CAS LLC is seeking a Tax Accountant (Remote) to prepare and review complex returns for clients abroad. The role includes ownership of multi-entity returns, planning memos, and clear communications with teams overseas, aligned with North American hours.

You will coach junior staff, tighten SOPs, and advance automation to reduce busy-season workload while ensuring compliance and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Two+ years of tax experience preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120‑S returns.
• Strong command of federal and state tax rules; GAAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation & Review: manage end-to-end intake, prep, review, and e-file of multi‑entity returns.
• Client Collaboration: join calls and translate code citations into plain business decisions.
• Workflow & Process: standardize SOPs, checklists, and review gates; implement automation.
• Data Integrity: keep organized folders, consistent naming, and complete documentation.
