Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a detail-oriented mid-level Construction Takeoff & Detailing Specialist (Bluebeam & AutoCAD) to support commercial construction projects. You will review drawings, perform precise quantity takeoffs for beams, columns, trusses, and metal components, and compile organized material breakdowns to aid the estimator.

This remote role requires PEMB and structural steel experience, proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD or similar drafting software, and the

Qualifications

• Experience in construction takeoffs and estimating support for structural projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material quantity calculations.
• Familiarity with PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings) and structural steel detailing.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform material quantity takeoffs for beams, columns, trusses, purlins, girts, fasteners, panels and other components.
• Prepare accurate material lists and quantity breakdowns for the estimator.
• Identify discrepancies and issues in drawings and assist with CAD drawings and plan revisions as needed.
• Coordinate with the estimator to ensure accurate material calculations and efficient quotes.
