Job summary

Buchanan Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for a 100% remote role supporting US and Canada customers. You will handle Level 2 issues across servers, cloud, networks, and endpoints, coordinating with teams for timely service delivery.

You will manage incidents via ITSM, monitor backups, patch systems, and maintain Microsoft 365/Azure environments. Strong communication and proactive maintenance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining, operating, and supporting IT environments.
• At least 2 years in a Systems Engineer or Level 2 support role.
• Strong troubleshooting across server, cloud, network, workstation, and apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, monitor, and support customer systems for stable, secure operations.
• Provide Level 2 support for workstations, servers, OS, apps, and infrastructure issues.
• Monitor incidents, service requests, and tickets per ITIL and SLAs.
