My Online Staff is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our remote team delivering structural design and documentation for diverse projects. You will work from the Philippines on an Australian morning shift, ensuring builds meet relevant standards while collaborating with architects, contractors and geotechnical consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in structural/building engineering, preferably in Australian consulting.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Experience with residential, commercial or industrial building structures.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and NCC.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small team.
• Strong attention to detail and producing high-quality engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Design reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber structures.
• Assist with high-rise and low-rise design, basements and shoring systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and provide engineering advice during construction.
• Investigate structural defects and assist with forensic reports.
• Liaise with architects, builders, contractors and geotechnical consultants.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, NCC and regulations.
• Assist with project coordination from concept through construction and certification.
• Contribute to practical, economical and constructible engineering solutions.
