GoDaddy is seeking a senior reliability engineer to own and evolve the monitoring, patching, and automation for Domains infrastructure. You will work remotely, collaborating with teams worldwide and occasionally visit offices for events.

You’ll apply AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC expertise to improve uptime, deploy scalable platforms, and mentor teammates while advancing AI-assisted tooling and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting.
• Proficiency in Go, Python or Ruby.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or CDK.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/OTEL and Site24x7.
• Lead cloud migration efforts and ensure service reliability and performance.
• Manage patching compliance and vulnerability remediation at scale.
• Operate multi-tenant Kubernetes/ArgoCD platform and migrations of core services.
• Contribute to AI/automation initiatives and mentor engineers.
