Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management seeks an experienced SRE with cloud and ML Ops focus to own and evolve our 24/7 production Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will drive reliability, automation, and cloud architecture across EKS, AWS services, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data science and product teams to advance ML deployment pipelines while maintaining security and observability in a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AWS with production exposure to EKS, EC2, RDS, Fargate, CloudFront, Lambda, S3
• Strong DevOps/SRE background with leadership experience
• Proficient in at least one language: Python, Ruby, Elixir, Go, JS, or Rust
• Solid understanding of containers (Docker) and virtualization basics
• Experience with YAML/Bash, Helm, Terraform; ArgoCD is a plus
• Familiarity with ML workflows and ML tooling (model deployment pipelines) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly available, scalable Kubernetes-based production environment.
• Implement modern DevOps practices to improve automation and engineering quality.
• Manage and scale AWS core services (EKS, EC2, RDS, Fargate, CloudFront, Lambda, S3).
• Build and maintain IaC modules and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Monitor systems, configure alerts, and drive incident response and postmortems.
• Apply SRE discipline to ML infrastructure including model serving and training pipelines.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to operationalize ML models at scale.
• Optimize EKS configurations for ML workloads on AWS.
