Job summary

AfterQuery is hiring special education teachers as contractors to author and grade IEP and intervention scenarios used to test frontier AI models. This fully remote, asynchronous role offers hourly pay and weekly Stripe payments, with a flexible schedule starting at 10 hours per week.

Contractors will write realistic evaluation scenarios, provide reference answers with legal and instructional reasoning, and assess model outputs for compliance and student suitability.

Qualifications

• Certification or license in special education.
• 2+ years of teaching in special education settings.
• Depth in IEP development, accommodations, and differentiated instruction.
• Clear written English for documenting instructional and legal reasoning.
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Author realistic special education scenarios from evaluation through IEP implementation.
• Write reference answers with the legal and instructional reasoning behind each decision.
• Grade model output for compliance and appropriateness for the student.
• Flag advice that reads compliant but fails the student.
