Job summary

AfterQuery is hiring primary education teachers as contractors to author and grade elementary classroom scenarios used in frontier AI evaluations. Fully remote, async, pay is hourly and weekly via Stripe.

You’ll craft scenarios from planning to assessment, justify your reasoning, and ensure age-appropriate instructional quality. The role requires a teaching license for primary education, at least 2 years of primary teaching, and strong literacy/numeracy expertise.

Qualifications

• Teaching license or certification with a primary education endorsement.
• 2+ years of teaching at the primary level.
• Depth in early literacy and numeracy instruction.
• Clear written English for documenting pedagogical reasoning.
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Author realistic primary classroom scenarios from planning through assessment.
• Write reference answers with the developmental reasoning behind each choice.
• Grade model output for age appropriateness and instructional accuracy.
• Flag activities that look engaging but teach nothing.
