Job summary

Madison Energy Infrastructure is seeking a Performance Engineer to analyze 600+ solar and BESS assets across the U.S. remotely from the Philippines. You will interpret production and weather data, surface insights, and drive action with RAMs and O&M teams.

The role emphasizes root-cause investigation, data validation, and onboarding new sites, using DAS/SCADA platforms and AlsoEnergy in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of expert-level experience in commercial and utility solar monitoring.
• Knowledge of Performance Ratio, availability, capacity factor, and inverter-level diagnostics.
• Experience interpreting production and weather data to identify underperformance.
• Experience reading PVSyst models and energy projections.
• 1+ year of Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data across 600+ sites using Power BI and monitoring systems.
• Evaluate KPIs like PR, availability, and forecast variance to assess site health.
• Investigate root causes of underperformance and quantify energy losses.
• Flag issues with summaries and recommended next steps to RAMs.
• Digitally onboard new sites and validate models and ASC configurations.
