Job summary

Comet Backup, a WebPros brand, seeks an experienced software developer in the Philippines for a fully remote role. You will own features end-to-end across Go, C++, and TypeScript, review teammates’ work, and contribute to high-quality software built for a global customer base.

You’ll collaborate with a distributed team, use AI-assisted development daily, and help shape how we build software while delivering robust, scalable solutions across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, with Golang, TypeScript, or C++.
• Strong ability to design, build, test, and maintain complex software systems independently.
• Solid knowledge of Git and Agile project management practices.
• Experience building desktop apps for macOS, Linux, or Windows; Qt is a plus.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, Docker, AWS) and databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Excellent written English and remote collaboration habits.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and daily use of AI coding tools.

Responsibilities
