Job summary

Tenki seeks a Golang Engineer to join a small, highly capable team building the future of compute markets. The role is remote, with reliable overlap in LATAM (GMT-3) or the Philippines (GMT+8), and requires strong API design, gRPC, and identity/security experience.

You will architect and operate scalable services, secure identity layers, and advance an immutable, resilient infrastructure. Collaborating with Applications (TypeScript) and Platform teams, you will drive concrete engineering

Qualifications

Must be proficient in Golang with high‑performance, concurrent applications and scaling to millions of users.
Strong track record architecting and maintaining gRPC APIs and robust internal/external contracts.
Experience with identity services (OIDC/OAuth2) and securing user data.
Systems mindset with understanding overlay networking and secure microservices connections.
Experience mitigating DDoS and building resilient, security‑mocified platforms.
Designing immutable infrastructure with cattle servers for rapid rebuilds.
Ability to translate concepts into Engineering Requirement Documents and actionable plans.

Responsibilities

Architect, maintain, and evolve core gRPC API services based on ConnectRPC.
Design and operate a private, programmable microservices fabric connecting platform components.
Manage identity services on top of the Ory stack (Kratos, Keto, Hydra).
Develop DDoS mitigation strategies and anticipate adversarial behavior.
Build high‑performance Golang gRPC services capable of scaling to millions/billions of users.
Implement immutable infrastructure enabling rapid tear‑down and reconstruction.
