Job summary

Raise Engine seeks a Slot Game Developer to craft polished slot frontends with high-performance rendering for desktop and mobile. You will integrate Spine animations and collaborate with artists to create engaging symbol animations, transitions, and UI interactions.

The role combines game logic implementation, asset optimization, and QA cycles, delivering production-ready builds within our internal framework for iGaming content.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building slot games end-to-end as a frontend/game developer.
• Strong proficiency in PixiJS (v5/v7/v8) for 2D game rendering.
• Hands-on experience integrating Spine animations into live game clients.
• Understanding of slot game mechanics — reels, paylines, volatility, bonus features.
• Ability to read and implement against game spec documents.

Responsibilities

• Build slot game frontends using PixiJS, delivering high-performance rendering across desktop and mobile.
• Integrate and manage Spine skeletal animations within game clients.
• Collaborate with artists and game designers to bring symbol animations, transitions, win celebrations, and UI interactions to life.
• Implement game logic layers (reels, wins, bonus rounds, free spins) against RGS/backend specs.
• Optimise game performance — asset loading, animation frame rates, memory management.
• Work within our internal game framework and contribute to its improvement.
• Participate in QA and bug-fixing cycles through to certification-ready builds.
